K ahream is 100% Egyptian. His bloodlines include Egyptian horses from several Egyptian breeders. He has 44.38% of Abbas Pasha's prized blood from the 1800's. El Deree was from King Farouk/Faoud's Royal Stables, and was incorporated into the State Egyptian Stud (RAS) in the mid 1930's & Bred to Abbas Pasha mares (RAS). This process has continued for the past 70 years, hence the idenitification of the Heirloom / El Deree "group", which contains horses who are extinct in the Heirloom "proper" database.

Kahream is of the Saqlawi-Jidran of Ibn Sudan strain. He was very personable and had impeccable manners, which are seen in all of his foals. Kahream was trained in hunter, western trail, team penning, CTR & dressage. He loved to trail ride in the mountains with anyone or any amount of horses. He has produced black, bred to chestnut, grey and bay, but has also produced dark black liver, red chestnut, black bay and grey from the dam's side. We have Anglo-Arabian, Arabian & Half Arabian foals available. Some are called Al Khamsa Heirloom / El Deree Egyptians. We also have a few Anglo & Half Arabians available on the fillies page. S alil AHR 499030 is a blend of very special old Desert Arabian bloodlines first brought to America. Thank Goodness there were early breeders who had foresight to seek out other early imports from King Ibn Sa'ud ( Saudi Arabia ) in a day of age when transporting horses to stallions was a long train ride or share agreement on breedings to produce replacements from original Arabian breeding stock. Albert Harris was one such person who had a terrific impact on our early Al Khamsa Arabian breeding preservation during the 1920's-1940's. Albert bred a *TURFA (Sa'ud) son, Tarff, to a *NUFOUD (Sa'ud) daughter, Kaluga to recapture what little there was of Saudi blood in the United States. Salil is one of very FEW *NUFOUD tail female ( Kuhaylan-Ajuz strain) horses. Salil also carries Arabian bloodlines from Egypt, imported in 1932 by Henry Babson, which are from the stud of Prince Mohammad Ali, and carry no BLUNT (Lady Anne & Wilfred) Egyptian import influence. Salil Ibn Iliad is Asil, Blue List, Al Khamsa, & belongs to an Al Khamsa "group" named "Sharps" by Carol Lyons, who was a long time Al Khamsa Arabian Breeder and author of many articles concerning Al Khamsa Arabians. Salil is an iridescent blood bay with an eye that is extremely large. He has a wide forehead, short ears, on a short head, adding smoothness over all, from his head to his tail. Salil carries a well built frame with correct legs, and is so smooth under saddle, it is like sitting on a rocking chair. E LBISKUS is an imported Trakehner stallion sired by Ibikus. He is the only son of Ibikus that was standing in the USA. Elbiskus is listed on the STALLIONS page on the American Trakehner web site. His bloodline combines the blood of Pregel and Maharadscha. His get have done well in hand classes at Dressage at Devon ( "Where Champions Meet"). Elbiskus was USDF Horse of the Year in the USA in Grand Prix Dressage in 1989. After his show career, he was standing in Fayetteville, PA. We were so fortunate to have been able to breed to him and lease 2 of his purebred Trakehner daughters, Isola Katiana & Isola Covenant, who each produced an Anglo Trakehner filly for our Sport Horse breeding program, sired by King Shamong TB.
